2024 NEW YEAR’S FIREWORKS SCHEDULE IN HCMC

You can watch fireworks and countdown to welcome the new year in Ho Chi Minh City at the following 2 locations:

Ho Chi Minh City proposed two fireworks displays.

Saigon River Tunnel

The high-altitude fireworks display took place at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Duc city side), with 1,500 high-altitude fireworks, 30 low-range fireworks, and 10 pyrotechnic rigs.

Dam Sen Cultural Park

Low-range shooting point at Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11), with 90 low-range platforms and 30 pyrotechnic platforms.

Shooting time is 15 minutes, from 0:00 – 0:15 on January 1, 2024. Activities are carried out using socialized funds.

Besides the fireworks show, the People’s Committee of Thu Duc City and Ho Chi Minh City also organized a week of activities to welcome the 2024 New Year.

The highlight is the inauguration ceremony of Saigon Riverfront Park and the opening of the Week of activities to welcome the new year 2024 with the theme “Thu Duc Convergence” at 4:00 p.m. on December 23. This activity took place at Lot 1.21, Thu Thiem New Urban Area, Thu Thiem Ward, Thu Duc City and Nguyen Thien Thanh Street along the Saigon River.

In particular, Thu Duc City will organize a countdown program to welcome the new year 2024 with the theme “Bright Spring”, combined with watching fireworks.

The countdown program with many activities will start from 7:30 p.m. on December 31, at Lot 1.21, Thu Thiem New Urban Area (section from Ba Son bridge to in front of Thu Thiem Parish Church), section N12 ( from the intersection of N12 road with D6 road to Nguyen Thien Thanh street).

People will see modern dance performances, electronic music, skateboarding… Then it’s time to countdown together to welcome the 2024 New Year, combined with watching artistic fireworks.
